We have been chosen by Jesus.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed
you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that
whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. John 15:16
Blessed with every spiritual blessing and chosen before the foundation of the world.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the
heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and blameless before him. Ephesians 1:3-4
We are predestined to be adopted as sons. This is the
will of God.
In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through
Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his
glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:5-6
We are sealed with the Holy Spirit, the guarantee of
our inheritance.
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the
gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised
Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire
possession of it, to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:13-14
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that
we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs
with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified
with him. Romans 8:16-17
God chose us to be saved to obtain the glory of the
Lord.
God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through
sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. To this he called you
through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2
Thessalonians 2:13-14
We are called with a holy calling.
Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you
have been called. Ephesians 4:1
Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not
because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us
in Christ Jesus before the ages began, and which now has been manifested
through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:9
We are predestined to be conformed into the image of
Jesus.
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be
conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn
among many brothers. Romans 8:29
We are members of God’s kingdom, redeemed and forgiven of our trespasses.
He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and
transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption,
the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14
We are justified by faith through our Lord Jesus
Christ.
Since we have been justified by faith, we have peace
with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1
No one can snatch you out of God’s hands.
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish,
and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has
given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of
the Father's hand. John 10:28-29
Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor
depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the
love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39
