I'm currently petless, but the last pet I had was Samson. He was a brown and white Shih-Tzu/Pekingese combination. He had long hair, the classic pug nose and an underbite. Weighed all of 15 pounds soaking wet, but thought he ruled the neighborhood. He liked to chase cats until the day he cornered one. Let's just say it made him think twice before chasing cats!

The "queen" of the house is my 4 pound (soaking wet) Pomeranian named America. Her roomies are Beth and Chloe, my 2 cats. America and Chloe play well together but as for Beth, she's another story. Maybe because she's an older cat, about 15 pounds and lazy! When she came to live with us, America didn't like her and still doesn't! In fact, America will go out of her way to attack her! This happens when she's sound asleep, not bothering anyone and it doesn't matter what time of the day or night it is!
America has several nicknames (thanks to my sweet wonderful friend) but the one that's used the most is "Killer". It started when he heard her bark. He cracked up and said that she needed to add some base to it so she would sound like a real dog! The name has stuck ever since!
